Dow Izolan offers a wide range of thermoplastic polyurethanes with high physical-mechanical and service characteristics that allows their use in almost every industry with high material property requirements. The most widely thermoplastic polyurethanes used in the production of wheels, belts, seals, shields, tubes, cables, shoe soles, sport shoes, safety shoes, ski boots, films, coatings, adhesives, etc.
Very few of existing materials can guarantee physical characteristics of thermoplastic polyurethanes: tensile strength, abrasion resistance, elasticity and flexural strength, oil and chemicals resistance, dimensional stability, 60 to 70 Shore A hardness. These thermoplastics do not contain plasticizers, are easily painted and mixed with other polymers; they demonstrate high adhesion to various materials, etc.
Thermoplastic polyurethane is processed with use of injection molding and extrusion equipment.
Systems are individually matched by our company for each customer
