Dow Izolan supported the construction of a new Aquatic Therapy Complex in Lukhtonovo orphanage, the Vladimir Region. The opening ceremony was held in December 2020 for its children who took part in a drawing competition trying their best to create a name of the Complex. Due to the pandemic restrictions Dow Izolan team participated in the event remotely.
The Aquatic Therapy Complex includes shower areas with different water pressure and salty baths. The Complex is aimed at improving physical and mental health of children with special needs. The therapy under control of the medical supervision helps to stabilize the nervous system, reduce pain and stress on the muscles. The salty baths are used for rehabilitation, which is vital for recovery processes.
We do our best to support building of healthcare facilities as it is an important aspect of the growing generation’s development. The new complex will help the kids to get a joyful treatment all year round and it will be beneficial for those who are not able to swim in open water due to some health reasons. I’m glad that we could make the children happier right before before the New Year.Sergey Anikin, Dow Izolan General Manager
